Peninsula Daily News - Feb. 28, 2002 Edition OBITUARY Minerva Evelyn Morio July 14, 1906 - Feb. 22, 2002 Homemake and longtime Port Angeles resident, Minerva Evelyn Morio died at the age of 95. She was born in Fergus Falls, Minn., to Frank and Julia Tweed Sutter. She married Philip B. Morio; after his retirement, the Morios spent winters in Mesa, Ariz., and summers at their cabin on Place Road. Morio was an avid bridge player and traveled to all 50 states during her lifetime. She was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Mergens of Central Point, Ore., three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and by a brother, Floyd "Bud" Sutter. Services: A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at Queen of Angels church at a later date.
