Memmer, age 88, of Hartville, passed away Sunday February 13, 2005 at his home. He was born in Rootstown, OH and graduated from Suffield High School where he played basketball. He remained a sports enthusiast all his life and attended many Lake Home games. Paul was a milling machine operator and had retired from Diebold Safe and Lock in 1978. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, coffee at McDonalds with the locals, and cards with the seniors at Lake Senior Center. Preceded in death by mother, Clara Wilson; wife Betty J. Memmer in 1988; brother, Lawrence Memmer; and sister, Iris Mori. He is survived by daughter, Karen Harkness of Canton; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard ?Dick? and Pam Memmer of TX; Robert ?Bob? Memmer of MT; and James ?Jim? Memmer of Hartville; grandchildren, Michael Harkness TX, Dale Harkness of PA, Bruce Memmer of Cleveland, Diane Novak of FL, Michelle Memmer and Sandra Memmer both of Akron, Patti Memmer of ID; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
