Adam J Boehm Birth: Nov. 28, 1890 Mandan Morton County North Dakota, USA Death: Sep. 14, 1944 Mandan Morton County North Dakota, USA ADAM BOEHM DIED SUDDENLY Adam J. Boehm, 51, Deputy Sheriff of Morton County, died unexpectedly from a heart ailment Thursday morning. Mr. Boehm had come to work as usual Thursday. Complaining of not feeling well, he went home and shortly after reaching his home, passed away. Mr. Boehm was born in Mandan Nov. 28, 1893, and attended rural and Mandan schools. He was married to Catherine Gress at Crown Butte. Surviving in addition to his widow are six sons, Frank, living at Mott, Casper, overseas, in France, Michael, Dos Palos, Cal., Leo, somewhere in Alaska, and Ralph and Paul, at home. A daughter and a son preceded him in death. There are also three brothers and three sisters, Mrs. Anton Gress, Mandan; Mrs. John Stein, Judson; Mrs. Rose Casey, Mandan; and Jacob, Christ, and Matt, all of Mandan. Boehm was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Verein, and St. Vincent's Verein. Before taking office as Deputy Sheriff, he had been employed for 12 years with the Farmers Elevator. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, pending word from the children. The body is at the Kennelly Funeral Parlors.
