  [S927] Obituary. RIGBY, Idaho Lulua Mary Loran Blackburn, 84, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at her home. She was born July 7, 1925, in Missoula to Jacob Loran and Mary Fitterer Loran. She grew up and attended schools in the area and graduated from high school there. On June 29, 1946, she married Malvern Quick Huck Blackburn in Missoula. They lived in Prineville, Ore.; Anaconda; Libby; Idaho Falls, Idaho; and for the past 38 years were residents of Rigby. Lulua was a devoted mother and homemaker. Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 1989. Lulua enjoyed bowling and playing pinochle. Survivors are son, Bud Elon Blackburn of Las Vegas; daughter, Sharon Louise Blackburn of Spokane, Wash.; brother, Jacob Loran of Seattle; sister, Ann Wilcox of Missoula; sister, Kate McBride of Missoula; sister, Monica Campbell of Missoula; three grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Melody Ann Blackburn. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 17, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon, Idaho Falls. The family will visit with friends 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday and 1-1:45 p.m. Monday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be at noon Tuesday, May 18, at the Missoula City Cemetery in Missoula.
