Proposed Change: Eva Eleanor Shork (I154508)Tree: Südpfalz / Southern PalatinateLink: http://www.birkenhoerdt.net/getperson.php?personID=I154508&tree=SuedpfalzDescription: Hi, I am Eva Eleanor Shork's great granddaughter. She recently passed away, and I thought I would send you some information about her. I have a correction for her third husband's first name. It was Selmer, not Selner. In addition, in the copy of the obituary below, you can find her birth date, death date, and marriage years as well as other information:Eleanor Dooling Jordheim, age 93, had a large and loving family. She was born April 27, 1919 in Beardstown, IL, the ninth and youngest child of John and Christina Shork. She married George P. Dooling in 1939 and together they raised six children. They moved to Mesa, AZ in 1978 but were only here a short while when after 40 years of marriage she was left a widow in 1979. She married Leonard Dabulis in 1984 and they traveled to Europe, went to dances and spent the summers up north in the White Mountains until he died in 1996. She did not intend to marry again until her neighbor came courting and she married Selmer Jordheim in 2002. It was a short marriage as she was once again widowed in 2005. Eleanor had many, many friends with whom she kept in touch over the years. She enjoyed playing any kind of cards, loved to sew, enjoyed needle work, puzzles, painting and crafts, loved to dance and until her failing health loved to go to garage sales. She was preceded in death by her thre e husbands and her first born, Mary Ann Hall. She is survived by her other five children: Patricia (TeeCee) and Roy Chandler of Mesa, Kathleen and Edward Smith of Scottsdale, John and Cindy Dooling of Tucson, Tom Dooling of Henderson, NV and Chris and David Buchanan of Tempe. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
