  [S927] Obituary. Leatina Silvernail Leatina Silvernail died on Tuesday, March 30, 2004, at the Tripp Good Samaritan Center at the age of 90 years. Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2004, at the United Methodist Church, Scotland, South Dakota. The clergy will be Pastor Donald Geiman and Pastor Mary Lee Lint. Music will be by organist Glee Deutscher and soloist Mary Lee Lint. Interment is in Rosehill Cemetery, Scotland. Visitation is from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2004, at the Goglin-Kelley Funeral Chapel, Scotland, South Dakota Casketbearers will be Dennis Silvernail, Bryan Silvernail, Joey Silvernail, Shawn Silvernail, Jason Silvernail and Jeff Mraz. Leatina Silvernail was born on September 30, 1913, in Sweetgrass, Montana, to Konrad and Paulina (Stoebner) Losing. She married Arthur Silvernail on May 18, 1938, in Scotland, South Dakota. They made their home in Scotland for 59 years until Art and Leatina became residents of the Tripp Good Samaritan Center in 1997. Leatina loved to bake and she will be remembered for her cinnamon rolls and kuchen. She also enjoyed gardening and canning many jars of her produce. Leatina was a member of the Scotland United Methodist Church. Leatina's memory will be cherished by her four children: Larry (Georgiann) Silvernail of Deadwood, South Dakota; Russell Silvernail of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Donna Mae Mraz of Yankton, South Dakota; and Charles Silvernail of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Art, on December 21, 1999; one grandson; her parents; two brothers and one sister.
