Note: Arthur C. “Art” Biedenbach, age 81, died Tuesday after a sudden illness. Born in Lewisville, Ohio, he had lived in Canton since 1950. Art was a U.S. Army veteran. He was retired from Sugardale Foods after 41 years of service as a truck driver. He was an avid gardener, outdoorsman and card player. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Amy (Schumacher) Biedenbach; seven children, Stephen, Thomas, Nancy (Dr. Mark) Hudak, Jeffery (Tami Grant), Charles, Sarah (Shawn) Isla and Dr. Rachel (Dr. Reno) Alessio; 11 grandchildren, Maddie, Lydia, Celeste and Blaine Hudak, Nathan Biedenbach, Morgan Isla and Alaina, Vivian, Gianna, Celia and Aria Alessio; two sisters, Viola Burkhart and Evelyn Wasilewski; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Rita, Bernard and Barbara, Dennis and Elaine and Judy; and a brother-in-law, Roman Schumacher. Preceded in death by sisters, Mary Frances Schuller, Mildred Nau and Clara Schumacher and two brothers, Norbert and Roger. Family and friends will meet on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with Fr. Donald Feicht as celebrant. Entombment will be in the Sunset Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call Friday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home and Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church. [Lamiell Online Obituary]
