Pauline M. Haren age 93 of Louisville, passed away Jan. 15, 2013 in Mercy Medical Center following a recent illness. She was born Dec. 3, 1919 in Alliance, the daughter of the late Leroy and Julitta (Michel) Frank. She was a devoted member of St. Louis Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and Knights of Columbus Women's Auxiliary. Her hobbies included quilting and needlepoint. Pauline's support of her church was unconditional and her living faith guided her through her many years. She leaves a legacy of unselfish love and devotion to her family. Survivors include two daughters, Judith A. Haren of Canton and Joan (Terry) Buck of Massillon; three sons, James H. Haren of Reno, Nev., Joseph L. Haren of Oakland, Calif. and Jared F. Haren of Louisville; five sisters, Marcella Zabranski, Mary Ruflin, Theresa Hannon, Esther Sluss and Caroline Gibbons; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Haren; sisters, Beatrice Warner, Frances Dougherty; and brother, Herman Frank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Ronald Klingler officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Pauline's family will receive friends Monday morning from 9-10:30 a.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
