  [S927] Obituary. Michael S. Haren, age 63, of 8735 Alberta Beach St. NE Louisville was dead on arrival at Alliance City Hospital Saturday morning Aug. 1 [1981] following a sudden illness. Born in Canton, Ohio July 7, 1918 to the late Sylvester and Anna Schario Haren, he lived in this area all his life. He worked many years as a bricklayer retiring last year. He was a member of Bricklayers Local #6 of Canton. An Army veteran of WWII, he was stationed at Pearl Harbor during the bombing on Dec. 7, 1941. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Harrisburg. He is survived by his wife, Mary Rose (Cachat) Haren of the home, 5 daughters, Mary Ann and Mary Rose Haren of Los Angeles, Cal., Mary Louise, Mary Therese, and Mary Pat Haren, all of the home; two sons, Michael P. Haren and John Haren, both of Louisville, one sister, Mrs. Mello (Alice) Maurer of Louisville; one brother, Robert Haren of Magnolia, and one granddaughter, Linnea. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Sylvester, Bernard, Richard, and Earl; and one sister, Mildred. A Mass of Christian Burial was sung at Sacred Heart of Mary Church Tuesday, Aug 4 at 10 A.M. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Monday Aug. 3. Burial was in the church cemetery.
