Obituary - The Barnesville Enterprise - William S. Poulton: William Samuel Poulton, 70, Cleveland, died July 16, 1991 at his home. He was born September 15, 1920, in Temperanceville, son of the late Jerome and Ethel Poulton. He graduated from Batesville High School and retired as Chief Petty Officer (medic) from the United States Navy. Two sisters, Alice Wallace and Garnet Stuhldreher, preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Marion; daughter Kathy; son Samuel Jr.; one grandson; two sisters Grace Ward of Lancaster and Eileen Large, Columbus; two brothers, Robert Poulton of Temperanceville and Anthony Poulton of Seneca Lake; several nieces and nephews. Military rites were held at St. Peters Church in Cleveland.
