Joseph H. Rieseck
EAST PALESTINE - Joseph H. Rieseck, 54, of 1804 state Route 165 died at 11:55 p.m. Friday at his home following a brief illness with cancer.
Mr. Rieseck was born Nov. 9, 1950 in Beaver Falls, Pa., a son of Howard and Mildred Matthews Rieseck and had lived in East Palestine since 1980 coming from Beaver Falls.
He was a welder for Morgan Brothers of Beaver Falls and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was also a member of the Little Beaver Lion's Club.
Besides his mother, Mildred Rieseck of Beaver Falls, he is survived by his wife the former Cynthia Crook, whom he married Jan. 10, 1981; two daughters, Mrs. Rick (Tammy) Laughlin of Rogers and Mrs. John (Tonya) Griffith of East Palestine; a son, John Rieseck of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Raymond (Regina) Rieseck of Chippewa, Pa., and James (Donna) Rieseck of Cleveland; and five grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine with Rev. Joanne Dota officiating. There are no calling hours.
