NOBLE COUNTY LIFE RESIDENT SUMMONED
CALDWELL, O -- Mrs. Ida Mae Springer Bettinger, 76, of Dexter city route, near Middleburg, died Sunday evening at 7:15 in the family home following a two weeks illness.
She was born July 10, 1881, at Road Fork, a daughter of Simeon and Nancy Burton Springer. She was a life resident of Noble county and a member of the Road Fork Baptist church.
She is survived by her husband, Alex; three sons, Walter Bettinger of Ava Rt. 1, Ray of Sarahsville and Gay of Dexter City route; five daughters, Mrs. Beulah Hesson, of Macksburg, Mrs. Clara Gildow, Dexter City Rt., Mrs. Helen Cozzens, Cumberland; Mrs. Alberta Mallett, of Caldwell Rt. 6 and Mrs. Kate McCool, of North Olmstead; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Bettinger, of Caldwell Rt. 2 and Mrs. Minnie Smith, Marietta; four brothers, William Springer, Dexter City Rt., Phillip of Alliance, Fred of Cleveland and Ed on Manua.
The body is at the McVay funeral home where it will remain until the hour of service. Funeral services Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at First Baptist church, Caldwell, with the pastor, Rev. Roy Wikander, officiating. Burial in Olive cemetery.
