Obituary (from Betty Hartley): James E. Haren, 51, 41234 Paulus Ridge Road, Woodsfield, died Sunday, January 30, 2000 at his home. He was born in Monroe County, March 11, 1948, a son of Mary Elizabeth Menkel Haren and the late Richard J. Haren. He was associated with the R & G Lumber Company in Woodsfield. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Grubbs. Surviving, in addition to his mother of Woodsfield, are a son, R.J. Haren of the home; a daughter, Ginger Haren of the home; a sister, Jo Eddy of Woodsfield; several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul St., Woodsfield, where services will be held at 1 PM Thursday.
