WOODSFIELD ? Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, for John Lloyd Bach, 83, of Lewisville, who died Tuesday (June 5, 2001) at Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The Rev. Richard Hasley will officiate. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, Lewisville.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born March 16, 1918, in Swazey, son of the late Thomas Henry and Vira Irene (Herlan) Bach.
Mr. Bach retired from N.O.B.A. in Tiffan, and was a retired farmer.
He was a member of Lewisville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Garnet (Kehl) Bach, in 1964; a brother, Ralph Bach; and a sister, Madeleine McGinnis.
He leaves his wife, Ethel (Griffin) Gardner Bach, whom he married Oct. 21, 1967; a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Cheryl) Handschumacher of Belpre; a step-daughter, Mrs. Larry (Donna) Ullman of Graysville; a step-son, Ronald (Helen) Gardner of Chambersburg, Pa.; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; five step-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
