Biography
Francis ''Frank'' D. Wise, 59, of Kingston, NY, died Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Kingston Hospital, Kingston, NY. He was born December 23, 1950 in Akron, OH to the late Robert J. and Mary Monica (Mills) Wise Sr.
Frank was married to Cheryl A. (Jacobsen) Wise; they wed on April 20th 1985 in Newburgh, NY.
Frank graduated from Archbishop Hobon High School, Akron, OH.
He was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army. Served during Vietnam War from 1974 to 1978.
Francis worked in "Systems Test" for IBM in Kingston then Poughkeepsie,NY, before retiring in 2006
After retiring from IBM he worked for the Kingston City Consolidated School.
Francis was an active member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of The Redeemer, in Kingston.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter; Alicia F. Wise, Kingston, NY, son; Andrew R. Wise, Kingston, NY, brothers; Robert Wise Jr., Akron, OH, Joseph and his wife Pam Wise, Fernandina Beach, FL., sisters; Marylou and her husband Mark Wise-Krietz, Akron, Rosemary King, Murrells Inlet, SC., his In-laws Robert & Norma Jacobsen, Wallkill, NY.,3 Nieces 2 Nephews, 1 Great Nephews.
Predeceased by: Brother, Charlie Wise.
Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston.
Funeral Service will be held at the Evangelical Lutheran Church Of The Redeemer 104 Wurts St., Kingston at 11:00 AM, Tuesday May 25th 2010, Pastor Audrey Pedersen officiating. Military Honors will be rendered by Joyce Schirick Post #1386 VFW following the service.
Friends may call on Monday from 4-7PM, at the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Avenue, Kingston.
