ESPENMILLER, Beatrice age 91, of Middletown, Ohio, formerly of Fulton, New York, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Rittenhouse Senior Living where she had resided for six years. She was born September 5, 1918 in Syracuse, New York, moved to Fulton, New York, then moved to Middletown in1960. She was a secretary for G. E. in Syracuse, New York. She was a member The First Presbyterian Church and the V.F.W. Miami Valley Post 3809 Auxiliary. Bea volunteered at Middletown Regional Hospital and had a passion for entertaining at home and cooking for her guests. At her home in Sodus Point, New York she enjoyed spending summers and falls with family and friends. Bea enjoyed bowling, playing bridge at Middletown Senior Citizens, found pleasure arranging flowers, and helping other people. Preceding her in death were her parents, Maurice and Esther (Montgomery) Bender; husband, Howard Espenmiller; and brother, George Bender. She is survived by three daughters, Diane (David) Aspinall of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Joyce (James) Felske of Buffalo, New York, and Lou (Doug) Shockley of Middletown, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Breiel Boulevard First Church of God in Middletown, with Dr. Eric Newell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Middletown, 1131 Manchester Ave., Middletown, Ohio 45042. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S.
