SHAFER RITES TODAY CALDWELL - Last rites for Mary Ann Fisher Shafer, aged 63, wife of Lawrence Shafer, of near Fulda, will be held Saturday morning at 9 o?clock from St. Mary?s church with Rev. B. J. Mattes conducting requiem high mass. Interment will be in the Fulda cemetery. Mrs. Shafer died at the family home following a long illness. She was a daughter of Frank and Margaret Hupp Fisher. The husband and nine children survive: Mrs. Madeline Kuerr and Mrs. Clara Michael, Canton; Mrs. Sophia Crock and Francis Shafer, South Olive, Mrs. Louise Nau and Mrs. Edna Crock, Dexter City, Henry, Herbert, and Eleanore of the home. Two brothers, Joseph and Frank Fisher of Fulda and 26 grandchildren also survive.
