Mary L. Tabellion
Mary Lucille Tabellion, age 85, of Mineral City passed away Friday morning in Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar.
She was born in Dellroy, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Catherine Motter Gottsman, and was a life resident of the Mineral City/Magnolia area. Lucille was a 1939 graduate of Magnolia High School and was a former Timken Co. employee.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Waynesburg, a former longtime member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Morges, and a member and Historian for St. Mary?s Woman?s Club. She also had been Secretary for the Diocese of Steubenville and Secretary for AARP Chapter 4647 in Magnolia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Paul ?Jim? Tabellion, on Jan. 25, 1985, and a brother, Roy Gottsman.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Carol and Terry Edwards of Mineral City, and Sue Ann and Tim Christman of Canton; five grandchildren and one great-grandson, Marcie Morris and her husband, Douglas, of Alpharetta, Ga., Kristy Hunt and her husband, Christopher, of Laurelville, O., James Edwards and his wife, Kerrie, and their son, Logan, of Mineral City, and Michael and Amanda Christman of Canton; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and Joe Tabellion, and Dorothy and Ray Chaney, all of Bolivar, and JoAnne and Dale Resh of Navarre; one sister-in-law, Loretta Gottsman Smith of Pecan Gap, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Zamary as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary?s Church Cemetery in Morges. Friends may call Sunday 2-5 p.m. at the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia.
