  [S926] Find-A-Grave, (www.findagrave.com). [S927] Obituary. DELPHOS - Elizabeth "Betty" Honigford, age 85, died at 11:10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at her residence. She was born July 26, 1925, in Delphos, the daughter of the late Andrew P. and Julia E. (Kalt) Moreo. She was united in marriage to Jerome E. Honigford and he preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 2006. Surviving are three sons, Dennis (Marie) Honigford of Delphos. Steve Honigford of Delphos and Tim Honigford of Delphos; a daughter, Bev (Tom) Jettinghoff of Delphos; a grandchild, Aaron Jerome Honigford; brothers-in-law, Jim Honigford of Ottoville, and Donald (Doris) Honigford of Ottoville; and a sister-in-law, Jeanette (Gerald) Swary of Payne. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Leona Moreo, Irene Moreo, and Marcile E. Moreo; six brothers, Harry "Henry" Moreo, Charles H. Moreo, Gilbert Moreo, Otto Moreo, Lawrence J. Moreo, and Raymond Peter Moreo; two infant siblings; a sister-in-law JoAnn Honigford; and a granddaughter, Kimberly Elizabeth Honigford. She worked at Vancrest as a nurse aide for over 40 years. She was a member St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos. She volunteered for the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society. She volunteered for the St. John's Church Festival for over 50 years where she was in charge of salad. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos. Fr. Jacob Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. There will be a Parish Wake on Thursday to begin at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Delphos Visiting Nurses or to the American Cancer Society.
