  [S927] Obituary. Carl C. Ehrlinspiel, age 55, of 4052 Georgetown Rd NE, Canton, was pronounced dead on arrival at Doctors Hospital Tuesday, April 2 following a homicide. Born in Alliance, Oct. 9, 1929, he lived in the area all his life. A retired plumber , operating Carls Plumbing Co. for several years, he was a member of the Louisville VFW Chapter 7490 and FOE Aerie 2374, and a Korean Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Helen (Motz) of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Titus (Carla) Yoder and Mrs. Chet (Lisa) DiVito, both of Wooster, and Ms. Janet Ehrlinspiel of Canton; three sons, David of North Canton, Michael of Louisville and Robert of Canton; 9 grandchildren; two brothers, Richard of Benton, Louisiana, and James of Alliance; two step-daughters, Mrs. Lou (Sharon) Minck and Mrs. Sandra Shaffer, both of Louisville; 9 step-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Thursday. FOE services were also held on Thursday at 6 p.m.
