  [S927] Obituary. BURKHARDT, Imogene Delores ''Gene'' Born in Middletown, Ohio, on September 26, 1920, passed away in Roseville on May 12, 2009. Preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Robert E. Burkhardt. Dearly loved mother of seven children, Nancy Longstreet and Barbara Herlache of Roseville, Robert A. Burkhardt of Florence, Ky., James Albert Burkhardt of Sacramento, Pamela Lefler of Peoria, Ariz., Wendy Burkhardt of Bellingham, Wash., and Judy Williams of Ivy, Ga. She is also survived by 48 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Gene was a faithful witness of Jehovah until her death. A memorial service will be held on May 29 at 6:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6965 Sylvan Road in Citrus Heights, Calif. Published in the The Sacramento Bee on 5/27/2009
