  David L. Martin David L. Martin, age 44, of Waynesburg, passed away early Friday morning from injuries sustained in an auto accident on Indian Run Ave. SE, Waynesburg. He was born in Canton, a son of Richard and Shirley Dickson Martin of Waynesburg and had been a Waynesburg resident ten years. David was a 1977 graduate of GlenOak High School, and was a self employed roofing contractor. Preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Martin, on Sept. 28, 1999. Surviving besides his parents are his former wife, Gale D. Martin, and two daughters, Becky K. Martin and Kelly R. Martin, all of Massillon; his brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Becky Ann Martin, of Cincinnati; a sister-in-law, June Martin, of Malvern; his step-grandfather, Carl Weckbacher, of Beach City; three nieces and one nephew. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family in the Finefrock-Gordon Funeral Home in Magnolia with Charles Hopkins officiating. Interment in Melscheimer Cemetery.   [S927] Obituary. Harold Carl Weckbacher, age 97, of Beach City, OH, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012. He was born in Rinard Mills, OH on August 10, 1915 to the late, George and Victoria Weckbacher. He retired from the Timken Company in 1975 following 35 years of employment. He was a 70 year member of the Masonic Lodge and attended Market Ave. Church of Christ. He enjoyed yardwork and hunting and will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Ava Weckbacher in 1966; his 2nd wife Gladys Weckbacher in 1994; one brother and four sisters. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Norma and Keith Thomas; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and his sister, June Mobberley. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2pm in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Burial will follow in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2pm on Friday in the funeral home. The family would like to thank the Aultman Hospice Program for the wonderful care given to Carl.
