Age 84 of Louisville, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Monday, January 26, 2009 surrounded by family following an extended illness. She was born October 24, 1924 in Marlboro Township and was the daughter of the late Norman and Alice (Begue) Haidet. Following high school, she continued her education and became a cosmetologist. She married Clarence Bishop on June 19, 1948, spending the next 34 years together before his passing in 1983. Agnes enjoyed gardening, playing cards, puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and mother and lifelong member of St. Louis Catholic Church. Agnes is survived by her sister, Edna Burns; two brothers, Alfred (Betty) Haidet and Bernard (Elsie) Haidet; sister-in-law, Eleanor Neff; two sons, Ron (Sue) Bishop and Denny (Sue) Bishop; four daughters, Donna (Kevin) O'Neill, Janet (Dan) Myers, Janice (Mike) Antol and Kathy (Bruce) Grahame; eighteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; sister, Mildred Violand and an infant sister. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. David Menegay officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Agnes's family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home in Louisville.
