He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Helen (O'Grady) Coons; loving children, Roberta Phillips, Bernard (Berhe) Coons, Jr., Mary Ellen (Ken) Gauntlett, William (Leslee) Coons, Susan Goodwin, Beth (Phil) Jerzak, Coleen (Jim) Zingaro & Christopher (Sue Ellyn) Coons; grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica), Kristina, Elisa (Arthur), Michael, Victoria, Sara, Margaret (Adam), Kyle (Becca), Katie (Ron), David, Emily, Alex, Cory, Wendy, Jason, Amanda, Gwynne (James), Jamie, Chris & Ken Jr.; great-grandchildren, Thomas Bernard, Beyenne, Curtis, George & Helena; sisters-in-law, Jennie Coons & Kathleen Cole; several nieces and nephews; many friends. Bud was an avid bowler and golfer. He loved life to the fullest and cherished the time he spent with his family. Bernard is a Veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Army. He is also a retiree of Eastman Kodak Co.The family would like to express a sincere thanks to Dr. Bernard Farnand and his staff for the many years of caring service given to Bud.
