BRESOCK George Paul Bresock, 79, of Columbus, died Monday, June 22, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Son to the late George and Mary Bresock, he was born September 8, 1929 in Bellaire, Oh. George enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served in Alaska for 30 months. He worked for Boeing, formerly North American Aviation and Rockwell, for 35 years and retired in 1987. George was a longtime member of St. James the Less Catholic Church. George was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald Bresock. He will be missed by his wife of 53 years, Barbara; loving daughter, Mary Ruth; sister, Maxine Purnhagen; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call Thursday, June 25, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2009 at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1652 Oakland Park Ave., Columbus, Oh. 43224.
