"Wally" Wahl CUYAHOGA FALLS --Francis J. "Wally" Wahl, 96, passed away May 3, 2009. Mr. Wahl was born in Woodsfield, Ohio and had resided in Cuyahoga Falls over 60 years, moving there from Akron. He had been an appliance service man for the M. O'Neil Co. for 41 years, retiring in 1975, was a member of St. Eugene's, the Knights of Columbus Council 2362 and was an avid bowler. He is survived by his wife, Josephine R. to whom he was married for 68 years; son, Ron (Linda) Wahl of Cuyahoga Falls; daughters, Jean L. Levens of St. Charles, Mich. and Marilyn (Peter) Planting of Santa Rose, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in The Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Eugene's Church, 1821 Munroe Falls Ave., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
