Maxine Knowlton, age 83, of Graysville, Ohio died Wednesday May 20, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Monroe County Ohio October 16, 1925 a daughter of the late William Perry Cline and Anna Grace Beardmore Cline.
She was a member of the Low Gap Christian Union Church, Ladies Christian Union Women?s Fellowship, and a member of the Low Gap Cemetery Board.
Preceded in death by 1 son: Roger Knowlton, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.
She is survived by her husband: Harry Knowlton ? Graysville, Ohio, 2 sons: Larry Knowlton ? Graysville, Ohio, Bill (Bonnie) Knowlton ? Graysville Ohio, 2 daughters: Linda (Heber) Piatt ? Graysville, Ohio, Cheryl (Rick) Shook ? Graysville, Ohio, 2 sisters: Eileen Knowlton ? Graysville, Ohio, Imogene Piatt ? Graysville, Ohio, 5 grandchildren: Scott (Teresa) Piatt, Kathy (Jeff) Brown, Mike (Ashley) Piatt, Keith (Danetta) Knowlton, Missy Knowlton, and her fiancé Walter Dean, 7 great grandchildren, Trevor & Macy Brown, Lexi, Kylie and Carter Piatt, Hunter & Emily Knowlton, and Cole Dilts.
Friends will be received from (2-8) p.m. Saturday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home 100 S. Paul St. Woodsfield, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at the Low Gap Christian Union Church at 2 p.m. Sunday May 24, 2009 with Rev. George Hoskins and Rev. Richard Wilson officiating. Interment in the Low Gap Church Cemetery near Graysville, Ohio.
