He was born in Monroe County Ohio July 16, 1924 a son of the late Lawrence Ray Knowlton and Mary Louise Smith Knowlton. He retired from Washington Electric and worked as a Right of Way Foreman. He was a Veteran of World War II where he received the Purple Heart. Preceded in death by his wife: Maxine Knowlton ? May, 2009, and 1 son: Roger Knowlton. He is survived by: 2 sons: Larry Knowlton ?
