Englert, born abt 1881 in Rochester, a tailoress. Marriage license says she was a widow, gave her parents as Richard Loritz and Agatha Schenck, both born in Germany. Bernard died 3 months later. Her obit: Rochester Democrat & Chronicle Sunday 23 November 1947: METZGER--Friday, Nov. 21, 1917, Teresa A. Metzger, widow of Bernard L. Metzger of 127 Rosewood Terrace. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Roy Colegrove; one brother, William K. Schellinger; one son, Arthur G. Metzger; five grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. --Friends may call at J. B. Winchell's Funeral Home, 596 Genesee St., where funeral service will be conducted Monday morning at 9:30, and 10 o'clock at Corpus Christi Church. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
