MRS. CLEO M., AGE 81, OF 3731 11TH. ST. SW PASSED AWAY MONDAY
MORNING IN THE EVENTIDE NURSING HOME. BORN IN WOODSFIELD, OHIO. SHE
GRADUATED FROM WOODSFIELD HIGH SCHOOL AND ATTENDED THE FORMER KENT
NORMAL COLLAGE. SHE TAUGHT SCHOOL AT WACO AND HAD BEEN EMPLOYED BY THE
FORMER KIEFFER GROCERY, WHICH WAS LOCATED ON WAYNESBURG RD. SE. SHE
WAS A MEMBER OF THE FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH, DORCAS SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS
AND THE ALUMNI C.E. FOR OVER 15 YEARS, SHE AND HER HUSBAND SPONSORED
THE YOUNG PEOPLES CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOR OF THE CHURCH. SURVIVORS INCLUDE
HER HUSBAND, FORREST R. MOORE OF THE HOME, TO WHOM SHE WAS MARRIED 58
YEARS ON APRIL 12, 1982; TWO SONS, RICHARD MOORE OF INDIANAPOLIS,
INDIANA AND NOLAN MOORE OF YORK, SC.; THREE GRANDCHILDREN, TWO
SISTERS, MRS. EDNA GUSTELY, OF AKRON AND MRS. ALMA HIGHMAN OF
LEWISVILLE, OHIO; THREE BROTHERS, CLYDE MENKEL, OF WOODSFIELD, OHIO,
EDWARD MENKEL OF LAS VEGAS, NV. AND HAROLD MENKEL OF LIVINGSTON,
TEXAS. SERVICES WILL BE CONDUCTED THURSDAY AT 2 P.M. IN THE CHAPEL OF
THE FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH WITH DR. E. RICHARD CRABTREE OFFICIATING.
BURIAL WILL BE IN THE FOREST HILL CEMETERY.
CALLING HOURS AT THE REED FUNERAL HOME WEDNESDAY 2-4 AND 7-9 P.M. AND
AT THE CHURCH ONE HOUR BEFORE SERVICES. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, THOSE WHO
DESIRE MAY HAVE MEMORIALS SENT IN HER NAME TO THE BUILDING FUND OF HER
CHURCH.
