She was predeceased by her parents, Henry (Sam) and Nellie Wulforst. She is survived by her brothers, James, Charles and Henry (Lorraine) Wulforst; nieces and nephews, Deb (Doug) Lawrence, Jim (Sherry) Wulforst, Mary (Chuck) Hasenauer, Bill Wulforst, Mary (Chuck) Hasenauer, Bill Wulforst and Scott Volkmar; grandnieces and nephews; many cousins and Sisters of Mercy. Calling hours will take place from 2-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sisters of Mercy Center, 1437 Blossom Rd., Rochester, followed by a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mercy Center, followed by burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Mercy or to Our Lady of Mercy High School where Sister Carol served as the first president. Arrangements are in the care of John M. Hedges Funeral Home.
