SCOTT, Mary Colleen -- Passed Away on October 15, 2005. Loving wife of 43 years to Charles Scott of Santa Rosa; mother of Curtis Stone and his wife Debbie of Riverton, UT the late Dwight Stone and his wife Bonnie of Provo, UT, Steven Stone and his wife Ruth of Salt Lake City, UT and Margot Stone of Salt Lake City, UT; sister of Hal Bresock and his wife Lorna of West Virginia and the late Nestle Bresock; grandmother of 17; also survived by her foster children, Susie McAbe of Las Vegas, NV, Jolene Smith of Flagstaff, AZ and Tu Tao of Thailand. A native of Layton, UT, age 72. A lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was a member of the Bennett Valley Ward for 25 years. She fulfilled a 2 years mission in Samoa. She loved music, gardening and genealogy. Mary had many callings in the church, working with primarily the relief society, teacher trainer, and Stake Primary President for years and also worked in a Lamanite Placement Program and assisted the LDS Church in the adoption programs.
Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 1:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bennett Valley Ward, 1780 Yulupa Avenue, Santa Rosa. Visitation will be on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 11:30 am at the Bennett Valley Ward, Relief Society Room.
