He was born Jan. 20, 1911, in Monroe County, son of the late Edward A. and Cleo Claus Buckio. Mr. Buckio retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass in Corpus Christie, Texas. He was a Protestant by faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma E. (Mong) Buckio, in December 1994. He leaves several cousins; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. George (Hazel) Zaveson of Henderson, Nev. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday with Minister Sam Bartrug officiating.
