Gertrude Z. Iglinsky ? 2/4 Gertrude Zaunbrecher Iglinsky, 82, died at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003, in a local care facility. She was a native of Frey, and she had lived in Lake Charles since 1950. She was a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake College in San Antonio. She started her teaching career in Crowley and continued at St. Charles Academy and St. Louis High School in Lake Charles. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Dr. William L. Iglinsky of Lake Charles and Dr. Patrick J. Iglinsky of Houston; three daughters, Dr. Judy Ann Tarver of Lake Charles, Blanche Marie Waguespack of Bolton, Mass., and Barbara Jean Schwartzenburg of Baton Rouge; one sister, Marie Zaunbrecher of Frey; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her husband, Dr. William Iglinsky Jr., a longtime professor at McNeese State University, preceded her in death. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, from Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. The Rev. John Giles will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today, with a Scripture service at 7 p.m. and a rosary afterward, and 8-10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Louis High School, the family said.
