Martin Luther "Burky" Burkhart April 2, 2010 WOOSTER: Martin Luther "Burky" Burkhart, 87, of Wooster, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in his home. He was born July 23, 1922 in New Straitsville, OH, son of Leo Sabastion and Hazel Williams Burkhart. On November 14, 1942 he married Virginia Lee Hartman in Wellsburg, WV. She survives. He retired in 1985 from Diebold where he worked in Quality Control. He was a member of the Moreland United Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Jackie (Keith) Woodruff, Alton "Tony" (Tammy) Burkhart and Dan (Nancy) Burkhart all of Wooster; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Martin was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Fern Elizabeth Collett. Friends will be received by the family 1 hour prior to the Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. at the Moreland United Methodist Church, 138 E. Moreland Rd., Wooster on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 with the Rev. Tom Fish officiating. Inurnment will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at 1:30 p.m. McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home, 216 E.
