Roy E. Kinberger Sr. 96; formerly of Clarksville
Funeral services for Roy E. Kinberger Sr., 96, of Jupiter, Fla., formerly of Clarksville, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarksville with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. He died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at his residence.
He was born in Louisville and lived in Clarksville before moving to Jupiter seven years ago. Prior to retirement he was a four color layout person with the Standard Gravure Corp. in Louisville where he retired in 1973.
He was a Mason with the Crescent Hill Lodge 820 for 60 years and a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies of Louisville for 50 years. He was also a member of the Eureka Chapter 101 Royal Masons of Kentucky for 40 years.
He was a member of the Crescent Hill United Methodist Church in Louisville.
Survivors include a son, Roy Evans Kinberger Jr and his wife Judy, Jupiter, Fla.; a sister, Anna E. Farmer, Louisville; four grandchildren, Denise DeMase, Debbie Ryan, Chuck Kinberger and Brian Kinberger; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Helen Kinberger in 2004.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be conducted by the Crescent Hill Lodge at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
