Louise F. Lehmiller, age 86, of Canton, died Monday evening in the Pines Care Center following an extended illness. Daughter of the late Jay E. and Caroline (Singer) Lehmiller. She was a longtime North Industry resident, retiring from Massillon City Schools, where she was an art teacher at the Longfellow Junior High School. She was a 1933 graduate of Mt. Marie Academy and graduated from the University of Cincinnati and the Student Art League of New York City. A former member of the Canton College Club, Canton Women's Club and the Massillon Retired Teachers Assoc. Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
She is also preceded in death by her stepmother, Ann Lehmiller; sister, Jane Patton; brother, John Lehmiller; half brother, Peter Lehmiller; stepbrother, Edward Lehmiller. Survived by one stepsister, Betty Davidson of Canton; one sister-in-law, Norma Lehmiller of North Industry; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Mass will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no public services. The Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on S. Cleveland Ave. is in charge of arrangements.
