MORRIS, Dorothy Ann Anderson, 80, of Fairview, Ohio, died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at her home.
She was born November 10, 1928 in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late Hubert Anderson and Mary Ann Reichmann Anderson.
Dorothy was retired from Sears Roebuck of St. Clairsville and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd G. Morris; a son, Gordon Lee (Flash) Morris; a sister, Helen Boulet; and brothers Charles, Robert and Paul Anderson.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon (Steve) Patterson of Lewis Center, Ohio; daughter-in-law Candy Morris of Zanesville, Ohio; grandchildren David (Kelly) Carpenter, Debra (Mark) Neff, Denise (Jim) Martin, Gordon Lee II (Tiffany) Morris, Leslie Dawn Morris, and Lee Allen Swallie; great grandchildren Vincent, Bradley, Joshua, Nathan, Cody, Kyle, Courtney, Luke, and Avery; sisters and brothers Catherine Boulet, John (Jean) Anderson all of Barnesville, Donald (Ruth) Anderson of Bethesda, Eileen Britton of Jerusalem, Norma Carpenter of Barnesville, Jack (Marilyn) Anderson of Florida, Rita (Tom) Jefferis, of Bethesda, Ralph (Patty) Anderson of Belmont, Larry (Karen) Anderson of Columbus; sister-in-law Vivian Anderson of Barnesville; her loving companions and caregivers Margaret Wells and Roger Milhoan; her Valley Hospice staff Denise Rector, Dawn Hancock, Mary Jo, Anita Greenwood, Ron Morgan, and Anthony Faldowski; critical care nurses Henry, Tyra, Lea, Carol, and Melissa.
Friends will be received Saturday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 702 East Main St., Barnesville, OH, where services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
