Funeral services for Mrs. Gerald A. Gettelfinger, 78, of R. 1, Ramsey, will be held at noon Wednesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Frenchtown, with burial in the church cemetery. She died Sunday at her home. She was the former Mary Catherine Kiesler and a native of Harrison County. Survivors include three sons, Monsignor Gerald A. Gettelfinger of Indianapolis, Joseph F. Gettelfinger of New Salisbury and Anthony Gettelfinger, Ramsey; five daughters, Mary R. Ernstberger of Georgetown, Agnes M. Ernstberger of Clarksville, Joan Marguet of New Albany, Jean A. Batliner of Floyds Knobs and Antoinette Swank of Lexington, Ky.; a brother, Andrew C. Kiesler of Palmyra; 38 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Visitation at Swarens Funeral Home will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Mary Catherine Gettelfinger, 78, Ramsey, died Sunday at her home. A native of Bradford, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Orpha Gill Kiesler and member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Frenchtown. She was the widow of Gerald A. Gettelfinger. Survivors include three sons, Rev. Msgr. Gerald A. Gettelfinger, Indianapolis; Joseph F. Gettelfinger, New Salisbury; and Anthony Gettelfinger, Ramsey; five daughters: Mary Ruth Ernstberger of Georgetown, Agnes Marie Ernstberger of Clarksville, Joan Marguet of New Albany, Jean Ann Batliner of Floyds Knobs and Antoinette Swank of Lexington, Ky.; a brother, Andrew C. Kiesler of Palmyra; 38 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Visitation is until 11:30 this morning at Swarens Funeral Home, Ramsey. The funeral will follow at noon at her church. Her son, the monsignor, and the Rev. Fred Denison will officiate. Music will be by the church choir. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Gregory L. and Patrick A. Ernstberger, Brian J. Gettelfinger, Daniel P. Marguet, Dr. Michael L. Swank and Joseph C. Batliner. Honorary pallbearers are: Mary Jo Ernstberger, Rose M. Turnbow, Mary C. Gettelfinger, Mary E. Marguet, Mary A. Batliner, Lisa M. Leonard and Jean M. Jenkins. The rosary was prayed at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Swarens Funeral Home, Ramsey.
