THE NEWS DEMOCRAT, GEORGETOWN, OHIO, THURSDAY, 13 DECEMBER 2007: Gladys Miller, 98, of Georgetown, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at the Twin Towers Methodist Retirement Village, in Cincinnati.
She was born Nov. 26, 1909, in Sardinia, to Melvin and Edna Hayes Wardlow.
Mrs. Miller was a bookkeeper for 40 years for her husband's business, Ora Miller Farm Implements and was a member of Georgetown United Methodist Church for nearly 70 years. She was active with the United Methodist Women and played the piano and organ for the church. She was an active member of the Research Club and volunteered at Brown County General Hospital and Brown County Senior Citizens Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ora Miller; one brother, Everett Wardlow and one sister, Pauline Bradford.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Donald and Phyllis Miller, of Mason and Kenneth and Marian Miller, of Cincinnati; four grandchildren, Wes Miller, Sarah Miller, Kimberly Stewart and Jeff Miller and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation: Noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Cahall Funeral Home, in Georgetown.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the funeral home.
Interment: Confidence Cemetery
