The obituary of John M. Bosold was published in the Zanesville Times Recorder on 29 Sep 1930:
JOHN M. BOSOLD DIES AT HIS HOME NEAR HARRIETSVILLE
CALDWELL, O., Sept. 26 - John M. Bosold, 71, well known
farmer and lifelong resident of Elk township, near Harrietsville,
passed from life Friday evening at 5 o?clock, following an ex-
tended illness of complications.
Surviving are his widow and four children, George Bosold,
Caldwell; Mrs. Elizabeth Mantell and Mrs. Minnie Stevens, of
Harrietsville; and Mrs. Margaret Kress of Miltonsburg. One
brother, and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Rorick, of Canton, also
survive.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o?clock Monday morning
from the St. Henry?s Catholic church at Harrietsville, of which he
was a devoted member, conducted by Rev. J. J. Donaldson.
Burial will be made in the church cemetery, nearby, with William
Estadt in charge.
