Clara Zwick Kramer is listed in Dolores Snider's "St. Mary's -- 150 Years -- Fulda, OH" as a child of Joseph J. Zwick and Margaret Ruppel. However, Barb Schwitzgebel, who knew the family, states that Clara was the daughter of John Zwick and Bertha Burkhart. Clara Zwick Kramer was a "quilting buddy" of Barb's mother (Catherine Zwick Lawrence) for many years at St. Joseph's Church in Canton, OH. Clara and Catherine were first cousins. John ZWICK, 77, a retired farmer, died Saturday in the home of a son, Clarence Zwick of Devinney Ave., Louisville. Born in Monroe County, Mr. Zwick resided in Louisville 34 years. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Emma Zwick; nine sons, Clarence, John, Harry, Homer and Francis all of Louisville, Roman of Massillon, Ralph and Marion of Canton and Edwardof Harrisburg; two daughters, Mrs. A. M.Kramer and Mrs. Romia Rothermel of Canton; five brothers, Peter, George, Joseph and Charles of Lewisville, Monroe County, and Michael of Louisville; one sister, Mrs. Rosie Smithberger of Noble County; 33 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The body will be taken today from the Paquelet panors to the home of Clarence Zwick. Services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. in St. Louis Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery at Harrisburg.
