Alex F. Mosbrucker, Funeral services for Alex Mosbrucker, 84, retired New Salem shoemaker and creamery operator will be held at 10 am MST Tuesday at St. Pius Catholic Church of New Salem with interment in the church cemetery. He died Thursday at a B8ismarck hospital following a lengthy illness. Visitation will be a Buehler Funeral Home in Mandan after 1 pm today and at the Buehler chapel in New Salem Sunday afternoon and Monday and at the church an hour before services. The St. Vincent Verein will say a rosary at 7:30 pm in the Mandan Chapel and St. Anthony Verein will say rosary at 7:30 pm Sunday in New Salem. A family rosary is in New Salem at 7:30 pm Monday. Mr. Mosbrucker was born Sept. 25, 1900 in the Odessa area of Russia. and came to the United States in 1908 to the Blue Grass community. He farmed there until 1945. He married Rose Huck in Bismarck on April 11, 1923. IN 1945 he moved to New Salem and operated Ales's shoe repair and creamery until his retirement in 1968. He is survived by two sons, Frank, Billings, Mt., and George, Plentywood, MT, three daughters, Mrs. Ben (Tillie) Henke, Lansing, IL, Mrs. Elmer (Mary) Henke, Gar7y, IN, Mrs. Glenn (Alice) Golde, Pensacola, FL, 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grand children, one brother, Joe, Portland, OR and four sisters, Mrs. Casper Huck, Snohomish, WA< Mrs John Kautzman, Mrs. Pete Kautzman and Mrs, Tony Jundt, all of Yakima WA.
