  [S927] Obituary. pringfield Journal-Register, June 8, 1953 JOHN S. SHORK John S. Shork, 86, of 404 S. MacArthur Blvd., died at 9:35 a.m. yesterday at his residence. Mr. Shork was born June 12, 1867, in Pottsville, Pa. His wife, Christina died on Dec. 7, 1944. He is survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Christine Greeley, of Detroit, Mich.; Miss Clara, at home; Mrs. Loretta Tholen, of Jacksonville; Mrs. Mary Fagan, of this city; Mrs. Marie Knight, of Beardstown; Mrs. Margaret Lewis, of Palo Alto, Cal.; Mrs. Genevieve Dietsch, of Beardstown, and Mrs. Eleanor Dooling, of this city; one son, John J., of Sheridan, Wyo.; one sister, Miss Eva Shork, of Cleveland, O.; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Agnes Church. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. tomorrow at St. Agnes church with Msgr. A. E. Giusti officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The body is at the Staab Funeral Home where friends may call from 1 to 10 p.m. today and where the rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today. Submitted by Dan Tholen
