Zingsheim, 95, of Lomira, passed away on Friday, July 6,2007, at Hope Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lomira. He was born on February 1, 1912, in Nenno, the son of the late Ambrose and Julia (WoIf) Zingsheim, and on January 6, 1937, he was united in marriage to Laura Hoerth in LeRoy. His wife preceded him in death on October 8, 1993. Felix was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Lomira, the Legion of Mary, the Knights of Columbus and was past president of the Lomira Senior Citizens. He had a passion for woodworking, enjoyed fishing and playing sheepshead, playing as recently as two weeks ago. Survivors include six children, 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, Felix was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial for Felix will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2007 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lomira. Father Dennis G. Budka will officiate and entombment will be at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services. The Kietzer Funeral Home in Lomira is serving the family.
