Mary Latta, nee Burris Source: The Cambridge [Ohio] Jeffersonian; 28 Mar 1950 Mrs. Mary Latta, of Spencer Station, died Monday evening at the Heskett rest home in Cambridge, where she had been staying the past few months. She was a retired school teacher having taught many years in the Calais schools. Her husband Thomas Latta, died May 2, 1925. Surviving are one sister Mrs. Sadie Stallings of Stafford; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Eberle funeral home in Quaker City. Burial will be in Calais cemetery in Monroe county.
