Wendolin M. Zingsheim, 84, of the town of Addison, died on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2002 at Manorcare Health Services in Fond du Lac. He was born on June 12, 1918 in the town of Addison to the late Ambrose and Julia (nee Wolf) Zingsheim. After his marriage to Beulah C. Langenecker on Sept. 30, 1942, at Sacred Heart Church in Allenton, the couple settled in the town of Addison where he farmed until retiring in 1977. For 15 years he served as an insurance agent with the Theresa Mutual Insurance Co. Wendolin loved playing sheepshead with his family and friends He also built, from scratch, miniature farm buildings as a hobby. He was able to enjoy his 60th wedding anniversary party with his family and relatives at the nursing home on Sept. 30, 2002. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Dolores King of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two granddaughters, Julie (Jeff) Kreft of West Bend and Renee (Guy) Bellefeuil of Sheboygan; two great-granddaughters, Ashley and Olivia Kreft; a brother, Felix of Lomira; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Zingsheim of Theresa; other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were a son, Jerome; a granddaughter, Mary Ann King; eight sisters; and three brothers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, St. Lawrence. Fr. Richard Breitbach will be the celebrant, and burial will be in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Nenno. Visitation at the church only will be Thursday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. The Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family.
