She was born Aug. 17, 1923, in Marietta, Ohio, to the late Ernest Albert and Nina Lindamood Brum. Katherine worked as a nurse for several years out west with several physicians. She is survived by her son, Donald Brum Luce of Villa Park, Calif.; and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McGee.
