Proposed Change: Rose M. Allmann (I14234)Tree: Südpfalz / Southern PalatinateLink: http://www.birkenhoerdt.net/getperson.php?personID=I14234&tree=SuedpfalzDescription: Rose M Allmann was my great aunt. There are errors on your page. Rose's first and only husband was Albert Fuchs. Aunt Rose had 2 sons, Robert Edward Fuchs (17Sept1925) and William Albert (18Oct1927). Both are still alive. Robert changed his name to Fox. Robert Fox (nee Fuchs) married Marion (can't recall her last name) and they have 4 children, Michael, Michelle, Nicole and Kelly. William married Monica (can't recall last name) and they have 6 children, Kathy, Judy, Mary, Bill, Bob, John. We are hoping that many of these folks can attend our reunion in September. Anyhow - the kids that you currently have as Rose and Albert's progeny aren't hers!

Hi Ursula
Wanted to notify you that my cousin William (Bill) Fuchs has passed away.
I've attached the link to his obituary as well as a cut from the family
tree showing how he fits. His obit is fairly newsy, listing the names of
his wife, children and grandchildren as well as his burial location, Fort
Logan National Cemetery in Denver County in the city of Denver, state of
Colorado, USA (address is 4400 W Kenyon Ave) Up until his death he
lived in the city of Englewood, Colorado which is in Arapahoe County.
As I'm writing this I can't recall if I previously sent you the notice of
another cousin's death. Bill Fuchs' brother, Robert (Bob) Fox (Fuchs)
died last October. I have also included his obituary. Bob lived in the
city of St. Louis Park in the state of Minnesota. He is buried at Fort
Snelling National Cemetery in the city of St. Paul in the state of
Minnesota. Both St. Louis Park and St. Paul are in Hennepin County.
A couple of things to note. Bob changed his name from Fuchs to Fox
sometime in his early adulthood. Too many people did not know how to
properly pronounce Fuchs so he changed it. You can see that Bill's
daughter Mary also lists her last name as Fox (per the obit), so I will
assume that she likewise changed it.
I noticed that the family tree lists both Bill and Bob as born in Waconia,
Minnesota but Bill's obit lists his birthplace in Bancroft, Iowa. I
just sent an email to my mom, who is currently at the funeral, asking her
which is correct. Mom was 10 when Bill was born and would definitely
remember the birth.
Finally, the family tree list's Bob's wife as Marion. Bob's obit
correctly lists her name as Marian.
That's it for now. My mom, Katherine Lipp Hall is still alive and well
and soon will be celebrating her 98th birthday which we all think is
amazing. I also find it amazing that she was interested in flying from
Minneapolis to Denver to attend the funeral. My brother Bill went with
her though since her traveling solo days are over.
All the best to you,
Anita Hall
