Landefeld April 23, 2008 Save | Bookmark and Share LANDEFELD, Blanche A., 86, of Woodsfield, Ohio, died Monday, April 21, 2008, in the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 10, 1922 in Stafford, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harry Vance and Edith Thompson Vance. She graduated from Elk Rural High School; was a homemaker; and a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Lewisville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney C. Landefeld in 1978, whom she married in July 1949; one brother, Boyd H. Vance; an infant grandson; and one step grandson, Mark Secrest. She is survived by a son, Dale B. (Teresa) Landefeld of Barnesville, Ohio; one daughter, Donna (Dave) Secrest of Woodsfield; one grandson, Zachery C. Landefeld of Delaware, Ohio; two step grandsons; three step granddaughters; nephew, Stephen Vance of Hilliard, Ohio; and cousin, Mark Daniels of Stafford, Ohio. Friends and family will be received from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, 100 S. Paul Street, Woodsfield, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2008 with Rusty Atkinson officiating. Interment in the Miltonsburg Cemetery, Miltonsburg, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ or the Activity Department at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehab Center.
